Terms and Conditions
1. Bookings, Cancellations and Extra Charges
All prices include full English breakfast, cooked to order, when ordered the evening before. (Does not apply
to long term rates).
Bookings for one night incur a 15% surcharge.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before expected check in. Deposits are not returned.
Cancellations after 48 hours before expected check in will be charged at full booking price, if necessary without consent,against the card used for the deposit.
In the event of non-arrival the full price, minus deposit, will be charged, without consent, against the card used for the deposit.
A £20 administration fee applies to any refund.
To amend, change or transfer a booking, the Richwood at must be contacted least 72 hours before arrival. Amendments will be made only if possible.
Balances are to be paid on arrival by cash, credit or debit card; cheques only by prior agreement. The use of credit cards incurs a 5% surcharge.
In the event of an early departure there will be no refund , unless urgency can be proved...
Check in time from 2pm until 9pm, except by previous agreement.
Check out by 11am, except by previous agreement.
Charges will be levied for replacement, cleaning or repair if any guest or pets cause loss, contamination, defilement or damage of the Richwood's property. If said damage or loss is found after check-out the guest will be charged, without consent, against the cardused for the deposit.
Any spillage of food or drink causing damage in the guestrooms will result in a surcharge on the bill or if necessary will be charged, without consent, against the card used for the deposit.
Smoking in the guests’ rooms will result in a £50 levy to deep clean the room. If evidence of smoking is found after check-out, the guest will be charged, without consent, against the card used for the deposit.
Pets cost £7 per pet, per night.
2. General Terms
The management can request formal identification on arrival.The management accepts no responsibility for guests’ personal belongings or money left unattended anywhere in the Richwood or it's area.
The management accepts no responsibility for cars parked at the hotel.
The Richwood is licensed with a Bistro-Bar, therefore take in food and drinks are not encouraged.
The management does not take any responsibility for children who are not under parental supervision anywhere at the pool, in the Richwood or on it’s premises.
The management takes no responsibility for allergic reaction of guests to food or drink consumed; or alleries to pool chemicals, cleaning and washing agents used by the Richwood.
Guests who are abusive or use foul language will be evicted without refund.
The management only reveals personal details of guests to a third party in connection with legal conflicts and / or prosecution by theft / damage of hotel property, or by assault / violence.
3. Pets Policy
The Richwood is a pet friendly hotel. We ask pet owners to respect the following Pet Friendly Code:
- Please keep your dog on a lead around the Richwood and grounds at all times.
- Please keep your dog under control at all times and
- don’t let your dog bark at night.
- Dogs are not to be left alone in the hotel guest room, except at breakfast time.
- Any other pets must be caged if the owners are absent, to prevent loss of the pet or damage to the hotel or injury to staff.
Pets are not permitted on hotel furniture.
Wet and muddy dogs must be washed and dried before coming into the Richwood. There is a hosepipe and water, on request, at the front of the hotel for this purpose.
Please dispose of all pet excretion appropriately. Failure to do so will incurr a levy of £15 per fouling.
Please bring your own pet bed and food.
