The Richwood is a licensed, residential guest spa hotel,
open all year with a reputation for quality holidays
at very competitive prices. Ideal for families, there
are reduced terms for children when sharing with parents.
The Richwood is comfortably furnished and fully centrally
heated throughout.

room & lounge
A games room with pool table and dart board is there
for your enjoyment. A lounge is available for you to
relax in and perhaps enjoy afternoon tea, or cream tea
served on the sun terrace if you really want to get
into the Devon spirit.

The Richwood has two bars, The Tavern bar situated on
the lower ground level and a second bar, adjacent to
the dining room.
A high standard of food is carefully
prepared by our chefs. Our optional four course evening
meal offers choices in each course served.

& terraces
A feature of the Richwood is its fine 30ft x 15ft heated
swimming pool, maintained at approximately 26°C
during the season and for a small additional charge,
why not enjoy a night under the stars, a bottle of quality
wine in our nationally acclaimed hot spillover spa.
Its adjoining terraces are great for
sunbathing and in the evening these are floodlit so
you can enjoy a drink by the pool.

From May to September regular entertainment provides
guests with an opportunity to enjoy themselves.

quite often based upon a particular theme, with a candlelit
dinner and dance being an ever popular option, horse racing
at Newton Abbot racecourse, theatre and pantomime breaks,
murder / mystery weekends, fishing trips and many many
